What is the preaching style? 

Our preaching style derives from God’s Holy Word, the Bible. The pastor may preach through books of the Bible or occasionally looks at God’s Word topically.  

How should I dress? 

We want you to feel comfortable here! You’ll notice a broad range of clothing styles, from casual to semi-formal. 

What is your music like? 

Our  worship music currently has a traditional feel in that we primarily sing hymns and choruses.  Our philosophy of worship music is blended, and our plan is to begin incorporating contemporary worship songs along with the great hymns of the faith in our services.   

Do you have Sunday School Classes?

Sunday School is a vital part of the Christian Education Department at FBC, and classes are provided for all ages, infant through adult. Join us for Sunday School at 9:30 A.M. 

Are there programs for my children? 

We have loving and safe activities for children in age-appropriate classes that focus on helping kids understand the Gospel and know God.    

 

During Sunday School and the worship service, we offer nursery services for children: infant through two years of age, and a toddler’s class for children between the ages of two and three. We have children’s church for ages four to grade three during the worship service. These older children who participate in children’s church join us for congregational singing and are dismissed just prior to the sermon. We want our new guests to know that while these ministries are offered to minister to your children, they are not required, and you are welcome to keep your children with you if that is your preference. 

 

If you’re bringing young children, here are some tips: 

  • Arrive early on your first visit and allow one of the greeters at the door to assist you in finding the locations for your children’s ministries. 
  • Our nurseries are stocked with everything a baby needs except milk/formula, bottles, and pacifiers. Please label anything you bring to the nursery. If your baby takes formula, please have the water premeasured in the bottle and formula premeasured in a separate container. 
  • Please alert the volunteer staff to any allergies or special needs your child may have. 
Do you have a small group ministry?

We have three small groups meeting in homes twice a month on Sunday evenings. Let us know if you would liked to get plugged into a small group!
